Android Version 1.5 (Cupcake) Overview
Cupcake was the third version of the Android operating system. For the first time, it came with a num code along with the name of the sweets. the num code of it was 1.5, and the name based on the sweet was (CUPCAKE). android version 1.5 cupcake was launched in April 2009, and some new features were added to it, like an on-screen keyboard and a new option for video recording, and a new interface of widgets was added for apps.
On-screen keyboard: A virtual keyboard added in it for typing on a touchscreen without a physical keyboard, and typing became easier.
Video recording: The facility to record and upload video directly to YouTube was available in this version.
Widgets: Add application widgets on the home screen and set the home screen as per your requirement.
Bluetooth A2DP support: So, Stereo audio support for wireless Bluetooth headsets has also been added.
Auto-rotate: Feature added to rotate the screen according to device position automatically.
Animated transitions: Animated transitions are added between the screen and apps.
Copy and paste: Facility to select, copy and paste text.
